Programs for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
This type of software consists of instruction sets designed to execute operational algorithms for technological equipment in automatic and other predefined modes (performing a specific sequence of actions required during the technological process), as well as to implement discrete logic (starting/stopping motors and valves, processing signals from position sensors, etc.).
The type and structure of the programs are closely linked to the automation platform (controller). These programs are subject to high requirements for fault tolerance and performance.
Controllers may include the following types:
- Main PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, OWEN, etc.);
- Programmable relays (relay/intelligent logic);
- Software-based PLCs on IBM PC-compatible computers;
- PLCs based on basic microprocessors.
As a standard, we use main PLCs from Siemens and OWEN, which support standard programming languages in accordance with IEC 61131-3. Optionally, we can develop projects using any widely known controllers.
